New Racing Kits from Yamaha : YZF 15 and FZ 16

For all those who want some extra power from Yamaha coming for all those who want some extra power in their Yamaha bikes, here is good news. Yamaha has launched performance kits for its two models YZF-15 and FZ 16. These are the racing kits from Daytona and they are expected to bring in the racing trend in India.

Racing kit parts are developed using valuable experience gained from Moto GP & World Superbike racing and Yamaha wants to provide its customers in India with the same thrill and feeling of racing instinct. Also with the launch of these kit parts we want to encourage safe racing culture in India. In order to meet Yamaha’s rigorous quality standards, the kit parts are developed by Yamaha Engineering Corporation and Daytona in Japan. Racing Power up kits along with racing championship , touring, apparel and accessories are an integral parts of our brand image in India.

Race ECU, High lift cams, full exhaust system, special alloy sprockets, adjustable back steps and braking systems with big diameter petal disc brakes, master cylinder, and stainless steel hose are all inclusive of a racing kit offered by Yamaha. These kits will be available for racing in closed circuits only and will be on sale from September 2009 onwards in the country.

Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo in New Complexion

Off course, it is a new complexion of Maruti Suzuki's Zen Estilo now running on the Indian roads. Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo is arriving restore in the Maruti workshops. The company is replacing its current engine with a 1.5L 1.0L K-series engine which marks its presence in its latest model A-star. Maruti Suzuki India Limited intends to revamp all its models as there are no upcoming models this year anymore. The company has recently launched two models in past few months viz., A-Star and Ritz. Both the models are an addition to Maruti’s already strong small car segment portfolio.

The company has withheld any plans to launch premium sedan Kizashi India. It now plans to only introduce face-lifted models of its existing products in the country. The company is revising the engine line up in all its cars in wake of the Bharat IV emission norms which will come into effect from April next year. The 1.0 Litre K Series engine makes around 67 bhp and comes with innovative technologies to reduce consumption and increase performance.

Chevrolet Spark : A New Diesel Variant

General Motors plans to bring the diesel variants of its popular small car Chevrolet Spark in India. There are no details available so far about the technical specifications but the car is expected in the Indian market by the end of this year. it is expected that the car may be powered by sub 1L common-rail diesel engine and will probably be priced 15-20 percent more than its petrol model. The company is also currently working on alternate fuels, including diesel, for its small car Spark which may hit the stands in due course of time.

GM India is also considering exports of small cars to countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Bhutan. It aims to sell these cars in West Asian, Latin American, Asia Pacific and the European markets. According to the sources, the company foresees these markets as fastest growing markets and intends to leverage its profits to pull out its parent company from the credit crunch.
