TVS Flame SR 125 Set In Motion

One more news from TVS Group here. TVS Motors re-launched its model 125cc model in India under the brand name Flame SR 125. The TVS Flame SR125 comes with significantly enhanced low and mid range power delivery and better noise, vibration and handling (NVH) characteristics. Its revolutionary Controlled Combustion Variable Timing Intelligent (CC-VTi) technology provides an advantageous combination of power and mileage backed by stunning looks.

The new model comes loaded with hosts of features where it engine is propelled by 3-valve CC-VTi technology. It means the new model will offer a better pick up with optimum mileage and power. The new engine has been developed in association with AVL Austria and has been tuned to deliver ideal tumble swirl port combination.

One of the visible changes in the TVS Flame SR125 is the wider rear tyre. It is a category first. This impressive rear tyre, which has been a clamor by our customers, ensures better road grip and enhances the bike’s looks. Futuristic styling with refreshing new graphics deployed in this motorcycle gives it best-in-class appeal.

The disc brake version of the bike has been priced at Rs. 47,550 and comes in dual tone colors of red and blue and an all black edition. The bike is available at all TVS dealers across the country. So if you wish to have stunning bike then why not go for Flame SR 125.

A new Spark on Beat-concept by end-2009 from General Motors

General Motors India is ready to bring a new Spark in India based on the Beat concept. The company has recently unveiled this model at the 2009 Detroit Motor Show and now intends to launch the model globally. This means India will have the all new Spark by end of this year.

It is important to note that this new car will not replace the existing Spark model currently being produced from the company’s Talegaon unit in Maharashtra. The new Spark is expected to be priced around Rs. 4.5-5 lakhs. 10 percent of the overall production will be marked for exports. The company intends to market the car in neighbouring countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan where it has all the Indian product portfolio models except Tavera.

GM is believed to have invested US$ 50-60 million (Rs. 200-250 crore) in tooling and equipment for the model and will manufacture the car at its newly-built Talegaon unit. The company will use the Talegaon plant as an export base for countries in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe.

High-tech “Flame” to Heat Up Indian Market

TVS Motors is ready to launch the advanced model of TVS Flame model in India with single spark technology. On the other hand, Bajaj is ready to launch the new model of Pulsar in the Indian market. The new bike - Flame SR 125 - would be an advanced version of its existing model Flame, which has single spark CCVTi engine.

The Flame SR 125, which is an advanced version of the existing Flame. More details about the model like price and specifications will be available in next few days and the model will be available in the showrooms from next week.

Bajaj Auto and TVS Motors are currently in dispute with each other over the use of twin-spark technology. Bajaj alleges that TVS Motors is guilty of patent infringement with the use of the technology in its earlier Flame models.
